My name is Amy Lina Sithibandith (Sith•the•ban•dith) and I’m a graphic designer from Alexandria, VA. I am a fashion fanatic and love all forms of art! One of my favorite designers is Paul Rand because he was able to pave the way for graphic designers in the corporate world. My goal is to one day create my own firm and clothing line, catering to those who dare to be different.
How did you discover TIKKR Watches?
I actually discovered Tikkr through Groupon. I was trying to find some cool gift ideas last Christmas and I happened to come across Tikkr. I’ve been a loyal customer ever since!
Where did the inspiration come from for your design? How would you describe your design?
My inspiration for my design comes from a mix between pop art and 80s fashion. Through their use of bold colors and patterns, they made a statement that I wanted to incorporate into my design. “Tikk’d Off” is meant to be in your face, bright, and noisy to emphasize the meaning of being ticked off. I used a female as the subject to break down stereotypes of the conventional woman. This design is meant for those who are trying to break the barrier and think outside of the mold.
If you could choose any person to wear your TIKKR design, who would it be and why?
Rihanna because she’s not afraid to be herself regardless of what others think.

TIKKR comes in funky colors (Robin’s Egg Blue, Burnt Orange, etc.) If you could have any color band, what color would you choose?
